She has appeared frequently on radio blog shows and in local and national press for client work and for her long-standing efforts to raise Breast Cancer awareness. Some of her most recent radio appearances have included Talking Alternative with Sam Liebowitz, LA Talk Radio – What Women Want with Judy Goss, nationally syndicated talk radio with Stu TaylorThe Real Estate and Money Show with hosts Marc Demetriou and Antoinette Gangi, and the Dr. Barbara Becker-Holstein show numerous times. Jean’s articles have been featured in notable online and print publications including the New York Times, Investors News, Women Owned Business Magazine, New Jersey  Top Docs Magazine, GLOW Beauty Magazine, The Star Ledger, NJ.com, New York Monthly Magazine, Asbury Park Press, Jersey Tribune, Monmouth & Mercer County Woman Magazines, LadiesWhoLaunch.com, TAP.net, and other leading publications.  She has been featured in various Intimate Apparel journals since she has become a fashion designer. Her first article launched on the cover of TheLingerieJournal.com in August 2015 as a new Contributing Writer. Her monthly column, Breast Briefs, can be read in Lingerie Briefs, where she discusses fashion trends about bras, Breast Cancer and advancements with new technologies.  She has also blogged for NOU Magazine, writing about healthy lifestyles and breast cancer awareness tips.

Jean is the author of three books, a trilogy series titled my My Pain Woke Me Up (with book titles Bliss, Legal Injustice and Live Your Dreams).  She is now completing her 4th book, From Sour Grapes to Sweet Lemonade, a collection of short reality stories and is pitching them in collaboration with the NY Women in Film and Television of which she has been a long-time member. All books in the Trilogy Series are available in soft cover and e-book at all major media outlets. The most recent entry in the trilogy -- LIVE Your Dreams -- is about entrepreneurship -- dreaming BIG, living it and unleashing your inner creativity to make all those dreams come true!  She continues to live her dreams with the efforts she puts in her work. Jean once learned 'a goal is simply a dream with a deadline.'  She just loves that phrase!

A businesswoman with a philanthropic spirit, Jean volunteers her time and skills to over 50 local and national non-profit organizations and women’s entrepreneur leadership groups, lending her expertise and ingenuity in marketing, public relations and fundraising to raise awareness for many meaningful causes. She has served on the Board at The Fortnightly Club of Summit, NJ as Publicity Chair (2012 - 2014) and served on the Board of Trustees of the North Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® (2008 - 2011), where she helped raise collectively over $15 million for the Affiliate's grant programs since 2007.  During her term with Komen, Jean co-produced several PSA campaigns including Komen's first Race for the Cure® PSA featuring Grammy-award winning artist, Gloria Gaynor, and former Fox 5 medical correspondent, Dr. Sapna Parikh. ABOUT JEAN – An entrepreneur with more than twenty five years of experience in digital media serving in senior leadership roles, JEAN CRISS is recognized for sales and marketing innovations that have yielded over $100 million in computer hardware, software, services and media sales for her clients. Jean also creates pitches on behalf of her clients to present to production houses and network and cable platforms. 

She constantly expands her horizons in business, using her creativity to develop new ideas. As the designer of a new mobile tech product, YouGO™, she is poised to roll out publicity on a national scale this fall 2016. Additionally, Jean has designed an Intimate Apparel collection of undergarments especially for Breast Cancer survivors, in production for the holiday season.  She branded her name, Criss, and used ingenuity throughout the line of CRISSCROSS™ designs to ensure Survivors will feel confident and look beautiful!  She even dedicated product names after loved ones who succumbed to cancer.  Jean is also a co-founder and ambassador for a new national award-winning spirit which launched earlier this year, Tattoo Tequila™.  With her recent licenses, she will be co-marketing the brand at special events and establishments with local distributors throughout the Northeast this fall.

Each month Jean helps assess other national based starts-up companies launch to obtain funding and with their go-to-market strategy as a Judge at NYC based Startupalooza with other angel investors, media and critics.
